The Arapahoe Color Blast 5K fundraising event for the Arapahoe Public Library was held Saturday. Several people from neighboring towns came out to enjoy the fun run with Arapahoe.

Prairie Pines residents attending the church service on video in the parlor were Stella Busch, Lorrie Anderson, Nathie Ahrens, Opal Coakley, Emma Crawford and Lelia Haussler. A Methodist youth Sunday school class helped with the service.

Many residents attended the funeral for former Sunshine Village resident, Arliss Kinder at the Methodist Church. Ilene Collins and Virginia Cookson enjoyed a beautiful bridal shower at the Methodist Church Saturday for Olivia tenBensel.

Gosper County receives dividend check

LINCOLN – Gosper County has received another membership dividend, this time in the amount of $5,195, from the Nebraska Intergovernmental Risk Management Association (NIRMA), the county’s property, liability and workers’ compensation coverage and risk management services provider.

LINCOLN, Neb., Sept. 30, 2020 – Farmers and ranchers interested in preventing erosion, improving soil health, conserving water and wildlife, or making any other natural resource conservation improvements to their property are encouraged to apply now for funding available from the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).
