Dundy County-Stratton earned a 67-27 win over the Southwest boys on Friday, Feb. 5. The Tigers earned an early lead, 21-3, in the first quarter and didn’t let up through the whole game. The lead was extended as the Tigers outscored the Roughriders, 20-9 in the second, 12-7 in the third and 14-8 in the fourth.

Warriors plit with Brady, Hitchcock County

The Arapahoe boys basketball team split two games over the weekend, taking down a victory over Brady on Friday before coming up short against Hitchcock County on Saturday. At Brady, the Warriors dominated from the opening tip as they scored 30 points in the first half and held an 18-point lead at the break.

DISTRICT CHAMPION - Brett Biskup, a Southern Valley junior shows the championship bracket card from the 145 lb. weight class. The youth won first place in the Class C4 District finals Saturday, Feb. 10 and will be traveling to Lincoln with seven other Eagles this weekend to compete in the state tournament. He will take a 27 - 5 record to state.
