In 1986, Bernie and Mary Jones purchased and named the Cambridge business Bernie Jones GMC. Fourteen years after, Bernie went into semi-retirement. The GM Dealership was then canceled in 2009 due to the General Motors Chapter 11 reorganization.

Arapahoe to hold informational meeting on Downtown Revitalization Study

Arapahoe is making plans for a new downtown revitalization project. Late last year the city of Arapahoe was awarded a grant from the Nebraska Department of Economic Development in the amount of $43,000. These funds with the addition of $10,00 from the city will go towards the study and planning phase of the project.

CAMBRIDGE - As part of Read Across America Week, Cambridge elementary students were able to win the chance to throw a cream pie in the face of either teacher Austin Reisig or Principal Jarod Albers. The Arapahoe High School speech students performed for an audience of community members on Tuesday, March 2nd at 6:30 p.m. These performances included Duet, Persuasive, Informative, Poetry, Humorous, and Not pictured above but performing Tuesday were MEg and Clara Hilker, Duet and Alese Williams, Poetry.
