Teresa Stevenson Saiz came from Phoenix, AZ to surprisse her mother, Barb Osiecki on her 85th birthday. While she was here, her brother Pat from LaSalle, CO came out hunting and her brother Pete stopped from Curtis. This is tshe first time in many years that Barb has had her 3 children in the living room at one time. While here, Terry had her birthday so pie and ice cream was served to celebrate during coffee in the Blue Room.

Gene and Joetta Glanzer attended the wedding of their granddaughter Sabra Moore to Theo Prusia at Gresham, NE. Sabra is the daughter of John and Angie Moore. The reception was held in York. All of the Glanzer children and grandchildren were there and they had a great time.

The Arapahoe FFA held their annual bull fry and labor auction on Friday night in Arapahoe at the school. Bull fries, roast beef, fish, baked potato and baked beans were on the menu and a good crowd came out to enjoy the food and put in a bid for an FFA member.

The American Legion held a supper for members and spouses on Saturday night in Arapahoe at the Legion hall. (Above) The tables were decorated with a patriotic theme and many enjoyed the dinner of brisket, baked potatoes and vegetables.

Brenda Kay Perry, age 64, of Elwood, Nebraska passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021 at home. She was born on October 26 th , 1957 in Sutherland, Nebraska to Eugene & Lola (Boyd) Stagemeyer.

A Funeral Service for Mae Best will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Oxford, Nebraska with Pastor Wes Hafner officiating. Interment will follow at the Edison Cemetery, Edison, NE.
