The Gosper County Senior Center is in full swing and has coffee drinkers in at 8:30, pool-players in the midmorning, exercise machines that are in motion, a puzzle on the table, domino game to get started after lunch and of course great noon dinners for you to enjoy with friendly neighbors. Head Start, a program of Community Action Partnership, is taking applications for 2022-2023 school year. Head Start is a child and family development program for 3 and 4 year olds and offers a home based option. Head Start offers a nurturing, safe learning environment for children. Some of the services for children include developmentally appropriate activities, on-going developmental assessments, health screenings, disability services, family support and nutritionally balanced weekly nutrition experiences. The Furnas County GOP will meet on February 15th at the Beaver City Community Building in Beaver City, NE. The doors will open at 6:30 for coffee and the business meeting will begin at 7:00.
