The Arapahoe School Board of Education hired Debra Campbell Smith for elementary special education and John Strand as secondary math instructor.

10 years ago The Cambridge School board accepted the resignation with regrets of Peggy Hilton The Cambridge High Quiz Bowl Team placed first at Alma Invitational on Tuesday, March 6 and members are Katelyn Flammang, Jameela Pederson, Asanta Fuqua, Justin Dick, Jake Whipple, Seth Cope, and Brock Shoff. 20 years ago Steve Johnson met with the city council on March 5 to discuss the Recreation Director position and accepted.

10 years ago The Elwood Public School Board has been extended and approved a Teaching Contract for Courtney Gengenbach to teach elementary for 2012-2013. Cub Scouts participating in the Pinewood race on Sunday were Dameon Montey, Ben Tiede, Cauy Bennett, Conner Schutz, Evan Niemeieer, Trevor Jorges, Kaden Nickell, Zachary Dickau, Creighton Hecox, Jayden Kohl, Caleb Walters, Nathaniel Redwine, Kaden Clouse, Elijah Niemeier, Broden Dean, Dash Headley, and Isaiah Bullis.

10 years ago The Southwest School Board held their regular March meeting Monday evening at the library of the high school in Bartley. The resignation of Dennis Troester was accepted with many thanks for his 41 years of service to the Republican Valley and Southwest School staff.

We want to thank everyone for all the cards, visits and exressions of sympathy. All the good food and other supplies and everyones help with everything that needed to be done was truly a blessing and very much appreciated. A special thanks to all who shared stories about Terry.
