Photo at right - On February 20, 2022 the Ragan Wranglers 4-H Club hosted a county wide 4-H meeting in Tyler and Jill Schmidt’s barn. 4-H’ers in attendance recited the pledge of allegiance, the 4-H pledge, discussed parliamentary procedure and Mike Miller provided a lesson on woodworking safety.

I remember growing up on our family farm just north and east of Beaver City hearing my mother state that she hoped that we didn't end up on the poor farm. I didn't know why she would say that. I thought that I had it pretty good. However, my two older brothers and older sister might not agree.

The weatherman promised a little snow for last week. If you watched really hard, at the right moment, you might have seen a tiny flake or two. Let’s hope he does better at delivering on this week’s forecast. A nice inch of rain would be perfect.

The Tri Valley Health System monthly diabetes support group will be held on Monday, March 7 at 5:00 p.m. in the Meadowlark Meeting Room, which can be accessed through the Wellness Center entrance or the main entrance.
