LINCOLN, Nebraska (April 26, 2022) - Nebraska National History Day held its 42nd annual state contest on Saturday, April 9. Two hundred and forty-nine students from across Nebraska representing 37 schools presented research projects on topics related to this year's theme, "Debate and Diplomacy in History: Successes, Failures, and Consequences." The event was held at Nebraska Wesleyan after two years of being virtual due to COVID-19.

The Gosper County Senior Center is in full swing and has coffee drinkers in at 8:30, pool-players in the midmorning, exercise machines that are in motion, a puzzle on the table, domino game to get started after lunch and of course great noon dinners for you to enjoy with friendly neighbors. The staff will continue to make your visit here, either while participating in the activities or eating our noon meal, as positive and enjoyable as can be. Thanks for your support.
Cambridge City Council met in regular session on Monday, May 2, 2022. Council member Mike Harris was absent from the meeting. After the Pledge of Allegiance, Mayor David Gunderson suggested hearing the Audit Report since the auditors were available via video conference.
