Sunshine Village pot luck was held on Monday with 10 residents and guest April Wendland. Hostesses were Ilene Collins and Virginia Cookson with an Autumn theme. There are three birthdays this month: Karla Parks, Norma Sinner and Nancy Montano. They had a delicious dinner and it was enjoyed by all. Bingo will be held August 20th and the next pot luck will be September 5th with Bev Brown and Virginia Cookson hosting. The program Monday was given by Ilene Collins and it was about the Autumn season and back to school.

KEARNEY – Graduate and undergraduate degrees will be conferred for 217 summer graduates at University of Nebraska at Kearney commencement exercises 10 a.m. Friday (Aug. 5) at UNK’s Health and Sports Center.
