BARTLEY – The Village Board of Trustees held a special hearing to set the final tax request immediately before their regular board meeting on Tuesday, September 13, 2922. The board approved a reduced tax rate of 0.257039, down from the 2021 rate of 0.312011.

Cambridge Unit 199 of the American Legion Auxiliary met in regular session at the Community Building at 2:15 p.m. with 8 members present. After Presentation of the Colors, Prayer, Pledge of Allegiance, and Preamble, President Marlene Witte called the meeting to order. Minutes of the August meeting were read. Sue made motion to approve as corrected. Jo seconded.

ELWOOD – The Elwood School Board held a special budget and tax request meeting immediately before their regular board meeting on Monday, September 12, 2022. There were no public comments at either meeting.

The Gosper County Senior Center is in full swing and has coffee drinkers in at 8:30, pool-players in the midmorning, exercise machines that are in motion, a puzzle on the table, domino game to get started after lunch and of course great noon dinners for you to enjoy with friendly neighbors.
