Mid-Plains CC releases fall Dean’s List
A total of 139 students qualified for the Mid-Plains Community College Dean’s List during the 2022 fall semester. To make the list, students had to complete 12 or more applicable credit hours of college-level courses and maintain an overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 – 3.89 on a 4.0 scale.
Platte Institute calls for repeal of community college property taxes
OMAHA, NE — Property taxes are the central topic in Nebraska’s tax reform debate, and newly-elected Governor Jim Pillen and key legislators have realized their opportunity to deliver direct property tax relief by repealing Nebraska’s community college property tax.
SV Annual Activities Fundraiser
The Southern Valley Schools annual Activities Fundraiser Silent Auction will be on Friday, February 3 during the SV vs. Alma basketball games. The silent auction will start at 5 pm and run through halftime of the boys varsity games.
