Body Members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Cambridge, gathered Sunday, September 17th to sort and sack up clothing, shoes, linens, bedding and more from the Tri Valley Health Service Auxiliary Thrift Store in Cambridge.

Body Cambridge Unit 199 of the American Legion Auxiliary met in regular session at the Community Building at 2:07 p.m. with 8 members present. After Presentation of the Colors, Pledge of Allegiance, Prayer and Preamble, President Witte called the meeting to order.

Body Bryan and Christine Herrick, recently announced as Curtis’ Citizens of the Year, were selected as the 2023 Curtis Fall Festival Grand Marshals of the grand parade on Saturday, September 16. The Herrick’s have dedicated their lives to the community of Curtis.

Body Teammates, a mentoring program founded by former Nebraska Football Coach Tom Osborne, is thriving in southwest Nebraska. Southern Regional Coordinator Lisa Dutt said the program has become very popular in many area schools, but that is leading to one small issue.
