Lebanon’s 150th celebration is in the history book. It was well attended, everyone had plenty to eat and all had a good time. The activities of the day that were held in the park went well.

The Oxford Quilt Group hosted a ‘Bed Turning’ on the evening of Monday, September 18, 2023 at the Oxford Evangelical Free Church. A nice crowd of around forty were in attendance to view the handiwork. The ten members of the group each had five quilts that were shown.

Rough weather in Danbury on Thursday night with large hail, tornado warnings and wind that brought a lot of rain in some areas. (Above) Some things had to be moved out of the church basement so they could clean the carpets from water damage.

The Oxford American Legion Auxiliary held a Gold Star Mother’s Day open house on Sunday, September 24 at the Golden Generation/Hilltop Event Center in Oxford. They served Cake, punch, mints and nuts.
