Body Members of the Southern Valley Band took part in Tuba Christmas at the University of Nebraska Fine Arts Recital Hall at Kearney on Saturday, December 7. They wore ugly sweaters and took part in the free concert. A total of 89 people were part of the tuba band.

Body EUSTIS - In the first invite tournament of the season, the Cambridge wrestling team overcame being short a couple starters and rolled to the team title at the Hi-Line Invite Friday. Ten Trojans earned medals, led by individual champions Carter Hanes (150) and Trev Burke (215).

Body MCCOOK - Of the eight area basketball teams competing at this season’s Cattle Trail Tournament in McCook, four advanced to Friday night’s semifinals. Tuesday, the Southwest girls pulled away from Wauneta- Palisade after halftime to post a 57-39 victory.
