McCook, NE—Community Hospital Health Foundation is excited to announce a grant awarded to enhance physical therapy services through the purchase of a BlazePod System. These innovative tools are designed to improve agility, reaction time, and overall physical performance. Initiated by Ryan Hardin, Community Hospital Physical Therapist, this engaging therapy equipment will primarily be utilized by the Community Hospital Rehabilitation Center’s physical therapy team, with potential applications in occupational therapy as well.

Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department (SWNPHD) encourages parents and young adults to know if they are protected from HPV. Human Papillomavirus or HPV is a common virus that can cause cancer later in life.

A total of 116 students qualified for the President’s List during the 2024 fall semester at Mid-Plains Community College. To make the list, each student had to complete 12 or more applicable credit hours in college-level courses and maintain a grade point average (GPA) of 3.9 or greater on a 4.0 scale.
