ARAPAHOE - The Arapahoe girls basketball team picked up its 13th and 14th wins of the season last weekend, rolling past Brady and Hitchcock County. Friday, the Warriors put up a big first half and claimed a 36-15 lead at the half over brady before coasting to the finish in a 65-39 win.

Steven J. Hosier was born on March 15, 1947, in Oxford, Nebraska, the fifth of five children, born to James and Samantha (Chapman) Hosier and passed away on February 8, 2025, at the Good Samaritan Society - Colonial Villa in Alma, Nebraska at the age of 77 years, 10 months and 24 days.

Leland M. “Bud” Warner was born September 1, 1929 to Clay and Dessa (Hulen) Warner at Moorefield, Nebraska.

Gregory J. Hays passed away on February 3, 2025 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Vicki Ann Courange was born on April 20, 1955 at St. Catherine’s Hospital in McCook, Nebraska to Victor August Courange and Sharolyn Joan (Bales) Hornkohl.

Charlene Rowley Turner died February 2, 2025 at Hastings, NE. Her parents were Warren and Doris Rowley, living south of Curtis for many eyars.
