Body ARAPAHOE – During the January meeting, the school board approved the secondary principal contract for Arapaho Alum Aaron McCoy. McCoy, who graduated from Arapahoe-Holbrook in 2008, is currently serving as Activities Director at North Platte Public School.

Body MCCOOK - At a sentencing hearing held in McCook Wednesday morning, Nick High of Bertrand was sentenced to 90 days in jail and five years of probation for crimes committed while he was a teacher at Maywood Public Schools.

Body The Arapahoe Library Foundation and Laura McInturf have partnered to bring the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to Furnas County. The organization helps to provide books to children ages 0-5 at no cost to them.

Body Hastings College has announced the Dean’s List for its fall 2025 semester. For the semester, 342 students from 25 states and 10 countries were named to the Dean’s List.
