Kent A. Brockmeier of Eustis passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Elwood Care Center at the age of 82.

Eldon Robert Elson, age 63 passed on March 25, 2026, at North Platte, Nebraska. He was born in McCook, Nebraska on October 2, 1962, to Tom and Merna Elson of Curtis.

A memorial service for Dennis R. Gengenbach will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

Dick was born December 3, 1948 to Earle and Alice. He attended school in Cambridge from fourth grade through high school. During these years, he won a spelling bee, was a boy scout, played school sports, and baseball every summer. He would say he couldn’t hit worth a hoot, but he was fast.

For girls results, in the 100-meter dash, Bristol Kubert of Hi-Line placed 4th with a time of 13.81, and Cali Santifer of Southern Valley placed 6th with a time of 13.99. In the 200-meter dash, Kubert of Hi-Line placed 3rd with a personal best time of 28.22.

CAMBRIDGE - Area golf teams hit Cross Creek Golf Links for their first invite of the season last Wednesday, battling a cold start and breezy conditions to post a number of solid scores. Cambridge led area teams with a fifth place finish and a score of 368 while Southwest tied fo seventh with a 391.
