Girls Subdistrict Pairings announced

With girls basketball postseason set to get underway Monday, the NSAA released brackets for subdistrict tournaments Thursday morning.

Arapahoe, Cambridge and Southwest will each compete in the Subdistrict D1-11 Tournament, which will be hosted in Cambridge beginning Thursday. Game times had not yet been assigned, but top-seeded Dundy County-Stratton will presumably open the tournament against fourth-seeded Arapahoe in Tuesday's first contest while second-seeded Cambridge will battle third-seeded Southwest in the night-cap.

Hi-Line received the No. 4 seed in the Subdistrict C2-11 Tournament and will take on top-seeded South Loup in Callaway at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Southern Valley heads to Wood River for a five-team Subdistrict C2-10 Tournament that currently features five teams with winning records. The fifth-seeded Eagles will open against fourth-seeded Blue Hill at 6 p.m. on Monday.
