A Fond Farewell

Oxford - The Oxford community bid farewell to longtime member of the Village of Oxford Board of Trustees and chairman Neal Mclnturf with an appreciation drive through the evening of last Wednesday, December 9.

Neal greeted visitors with his wife Margaret through the evening. The feed was a way for area residents to show their appreciation to Mclnturf for his years of service to the community after his decision to no longer run for a position on the board.

Mclnturf served as a trustee for 20 years with 15 of those as Chairman.

Village employees served hot dogs as people drove through the fire hall with well wishes and cards. Those coming through were asked to remain in their vehicles and were brought their meals due to Covid concerns.
