Gosper County Fair 2022

ELWOOD - The Gosper County Fair took place last week with rodeo action (Connor Schutz and Kaden Wooters pictured above) as well as 4-H and FFA competitions (pictured bottom right). Full results from the fair will be published as soon as they are available.

The Annual Lions Club Horseshoe Tournament was held on Saturday, July 30 at the Elwood Park. In charge of the tournament were Lion’s Club Chairmen Bruce Bader and Alan Hooper. This year brought 29 team to the tournament. Returning winners Gary and Terry White and Justin and Wes White again took 1^st and 2^nd place. Other winning teams were 3^rd Brad and David Bader, 4^th John Hicks and Rich Junod, 5 ^th Kelly Evans and Matt Riedel, 6^th Leroy and Logan Wendland and 7^th Cauy and Shannon Bennett.
