New Year’s Baby contest information

CAMBRIDGE - The first baby born at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital in 2021 will be the lucky winner of many gifts from local merchants.

The will be the sixty-first baby to claim “The First Baby of the Year” title at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Records indicate there have been thirty girls and thirty boys to date to claim the title.

Contest rules state that the winning baby must be born in the Cambridge Memorial Hospital and the parents must be residing in the area. The attending physician must certify the exact time of the baby’s birth. In an event of a tie, the award will be made at the discretion of the committee.
