Orleans Applefest draws a crowd

Perfect weather and a lack of events occurring over the course of the summer led to steady crowds at the 2020 Applefest in Orleans on Saturday, October 3rd. With over 50 vendors there was something for nearly anyone. And, of course, there was also apple cider, cherry cider, apples and pumpkins available for purchase.

The parade that morning drew quite a few spectators, two marching bands and many classic cars. Bands were able to participate this year with the cancellation of Harvest of Harmony, which usually falls on the same day as Applefest.

There was more than jsut vendors for those walking hte town. The museum was open along with the blacksmith shop. The Orleans Hotel was open for visitors and refreshments. There were also many sales taking place.
