Many residents attended the funeral for former Sunshine Village resident, Arliss Kinder at the Methodist Church.

Ilene Collins and Virginia Cookson enjoyed a beautiful bridal shower at the Methodist Church Saturday for Olivia tenBensel.

Pot luck was held with eight residents and one guest attending. Ilene Collins and Virginia Cookson were hostesses and it was all in Halloween decor. They had a delicious dinner at noon. The program by Ilene Collins was October sounds and why we like it.

They also remembered Columbus Day. They also learned how Halloween began and why we celebrate its magic and mystery. They are planning a Halloween party on Halloween eve. Bingo is on Oct. 17. Hostesses for the November pot luck will be Joyce Utterback and Ruth Beck.
