Norma Sinner

August 17, 1939 – March 8, 2025 

Norma Sinner, age 85, of Beaver City, NE formerly of Grand Island, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Beaver City Manor surrounded by her loving family.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13th at 2:30 pm at All Faiths Funeral Home with Dan Naranjo officiating. The service will be livestreamed on the funeral home website. Visitation will be held one hour prior.

Norma was born on August 17, 1939 in Bago Bantay Quezon City in the Philippines to Timotio and Rozario (Ronquillo) Dadula.

On March 8, 1966, she was united in marriage to Marvin Leroy Sinner.

The couple met while he was serving in the United States Navy and on tour in the Philippines. During this time in history, Marvin and his unit helped save the lives of many including Norma and her family.

She was a proud WWII survivor. She moved to the United States in 1970 and the couple raised their family in Aurora and Grand Island.

Norma was employed at the Liederkranz, Lippincott in Aurora and retired from Ken’s Motel where she worked in housekeeping.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Julie Sisson (Otis Day) of Arapahoe, Jenny (Allen) Kohtz of Grand Island, Jerry (Teresa) Sinner of Grand Island, Yolanda (Isara) Ishihara of Japan and Jimmy (Judy) Sinner of the Philippines; grandchildren, Will Sisson, Tawny (Jake) Pemberton, Matt Sisson, Crystal (Adam) Schroder, Adam Kohtz, Elizabeth Sinner and Emily Sinner; great grandchildren, Alex, Antonio, Makynzi, Orion, Kobe, Kyrien and Delilah; brother, Reynaldo Dadula; sister, Rebecca Partible; sister in-law, Anna Dice and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin Sinner; son, Danny (Amelia) Sinner; brothers, Carlito, Alberto and Rodrigo; brothers in-law, Darrel, Delmar George, Jim, Tom Sinner and sister in-law, Janice Schwieger.
