Christine Orpha Wolfe Yeager, age 51, of Grainfield, Kansas passed away at her home on April 5, 2021. She was born in Cambridge, Nebraska on August 20, 1969 to Gale and Mary (Culver) Wolfe. She was nine years old when she and her three siblings moved from north of Wilsonville, Nebraska to Cambridge. Christine attended Cambridge Public School graduating in 1988. She then continued her education at both McCook Community College and North Platte Community College, where she received her certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Christine moved to Grand Island, Nebraska where she lived and worked for several years. She was blessed with three children, Amanda, Kassey, and Jesse. She moved to Colby, Kansas and later to Colorado where she was employed at the Kit Carson Correctional Facility. Christine moved to Grainfield in July of 2007.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary; grandparents; and several aunts and uncles. Christine is survived by her three children, Amanda Wolfe of Grand Island; Kassey Yeager of O’Neil, Nebraska, and Jesse Beougher of Gove, Kansas; father, Gale Wolfe of Cambridge; brother, Paul Wolfe of Cambridge; two sisters, Rebecca (Levi) Cochran of Lingle, Wyoming; Sarah (Wolfe) Lucius Brown of Hebron, Nebraska; six grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM with the family present to greet friends from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Graveside services was held at the Fairview Cemetery in Cambridge with Pastor Becky Stalder at 10:30 AM, Saturday, April 10, 2021. Memorials may be left in Christine’s name at the Lockenour-Jones Mortuary in Cambridge. Friends may leave online condolences at lockenour.com. Lockenour-Jones Mortuary entrusted with arrangements.
