SCHEHERA ZADE

A celebration of life service for Schehera Zade will be held at a later date. Inurnment will follow at the Orleans Cemetery in Orleans, Nebraska.

Schehera Zade, 33 years of age, of Orleans, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Harlan County Health Systems in Alma. Schehera was born in Kearney, Nebraska, on September 12, 1991, to Wayne “Zip” Zade and Marilyn (Stonerook) Nelson. She received her education from Franklin Public Schools.

She loved nature; growing up, Schehera spent a lot of time at the lake boating, camping, and fishing, and that continued on as she grew up. Schehera enjoyed collecting rocks and recently put in a rock garden at her home. She liked to travel and never wanted to stay in one place too long.

Schehera had a big heart and touched the lives of everyone she interacted with. She really bonded with her parents over their love for the arts.

Schehera was a talented singer and enjoyed listening to records. She liked to draw and write poetry. Schehera had four beautiful children: CJ, Amelia, Paul, and Osiris.

Schehera was preceded in death by her parents and her grandmother, Kim Stonerook.

Schehera is survived by her fiancé, Justin McCormack of Orleans; four children: CJ, Amelia, Paul, and Osiris; her brother, Tyler Zade and his wife, Carrie of Indianola, Nebraska; one sister, Shelby Weber and her husband, Kenneth of Holdrege, Nebraska; one niece, Flora Weber; her father-figure, Dennis Chartier of Kearney; one uncle, Terry and his wife, Tory Stonerook of Holdrege; and a host of other relatives and friends.

There will be no viewing or memorial book signing; the family is honoring Schehera’s wish for cremation. A memorial has been established in Schehera’s honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
