DALE R. LITTELL

Dale R. Littell, 85, passed away on May 24, 2026 at Linden Court in North Platte, NE.

Dale was born on June 24, 1940 in Maywood, NE to parents Ralph and Edith (Kahler) Littell. He attended school in Maywood graduating from Maywood High School. He lived in Maywood his entire life.

Dale served his country in the Army for two years before being honorably discharged.

Dale farmed and ranched but his love was his cattle. He married Mary Jane Gandy on April 7, 1968 in Atwood, KS. To this union two sons, Charles and Clinton were born.

Dale’s hobbies included dancing, playing cards (Cribbage & Pitch), pool, and ranching. He loved spending time with the family and friends and loved going to bull sales.

Preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Edith (Kahler) Littell, his wife Mary Littell, infant twins, sister and brotherin- law Linda and Ronnie Werkmeister, sister and brother-in-law Tiny & Bill Ruby.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons Chuck (Billie Jo) Littell of Maywood, and Clint (Nichole) Littell of Maywood; seven grandchildren Peyton (Taylor) Littell of Maywood, Dalton (Emily) Littell of Omaha, Dayne Littell of Omaha, Devon Littell (fiance Cassi) of Lincoln, Sadie Littell (Jimmy Meston) of Omaha, Raelene Lanning of Maywood, and Jessie Littell of Maywood, five great grandchildren, Dalen and Foster Littell of Maywood, and Lincoln, Krew, and Amelia Meston of Omaha along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral service: Monday, June 8, 2026, 11:00 AM with Pastor Dale Heimer officiating.

Burial will follow at Maywood Cemetery in Maywood, NE.
