Southwest sweeps past Hitchcock County at subs

CAMBRIDGE - The Southwest volleyball team opened Subdistrict D1-12 play Friday with a dominant 25-12, 25-10, 25-10 victory over third-seeded Hitchcock County.

The Roughriders dominated the match form the start, racing out to the lead in each set while coasting to the finish comfortably for their 19th win of the season.

Hitchcock County saw its season end at 16-15.
