AHS juniors selected as Cornhusker Boys and Girls State representatives and alternates are Adam Lilienkamp, Cole Walbridge, Matt Kruger, Kyle Helms, Kelsey Middagh, Alex Schutz, Molly Helms, and Chance Blickenstaff.
Greeting Easter Egg hunters Saturday afternoon was the Easter Bunny at the C.A. Good Samaritan Center, and the Arapahoe City Park. Natasha Riley, Katey Stoye, Lindsay Novak, Amy Wendland, Kelsey Middagh, Melissa Powers, and Kayla Dawson. The group prepared 120 plastic eggs with prizes for the children.

Arapahoe Optimist Club held their first “Las Vegas Night Out” last Saturday evening at the Arapahoe Country Club, 205 tickets were sold for the evening’s activities serving 160 meals.
Arapahoe City Council meeting voted to set the base fee of the Arapahoe Ambulance at $100 and $2.50 per loaded mile to meet costs from other units to the surrounding area.

Gary Estergard recently received two awards at the Tri Trails Council, Boy Scouts of America Annual Recognition Banquet held March 21 at the Elks Club in Ogallala. Estergard, Arapahoe Scout Master for Arapahoe was recognized for outstanding services and Training Award. He also received the SME Award for fund raising through the Lions Club.
Elsie Schmid, head cook of the Arapahoe school attended a recent seminar to Sutton concerning the lunch program.

Ann Hanson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Weber has been selected as the Girls’ State representative for Arapahoe High School.
District Judge Jack Hendrix will be presenting three members of the Arapahoe Monument Lodge #293 AF & AM with their fifty year membership pins at a buffet type dinner. Receiving pins are Dr. Pete Phillipson, S. F. Curry, and Adolph J. Phillipson.

Two FFA boys, Melvin Deselms and Gene Glanzer received the State Farmer degree at the State Convention in Lincoln last week. Melvin was also elected State Treasurer for 1962-63.
Holbrook Hornets ranked fourth in Class B with 27 points Bill Dutton first in 100-yard dash, Roger Johannsen topped the 440 in 54.9, Earl Ledford placed third in mile, and Larry Moll ring fifth in the 880.
