Donald K. Leggott

Donald Kenneth Leggott, 92, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away at the Bryan Memorial Hospital on September 5th 2026.

Don was born on January 24, 1934, in Clifton, Illinois to James and Susan Leggott. Don was the youngest of nine children.

In 1935, Don and his family moved to a farm near Elwood, Nebraska.

Don enjoyed working on the family farm and attending public school. He graduated in 1952 and married his wife of 71 years in 1955. He farmed for a while but eventually sold the farm to work full time at Leggott Plumbing in Elwood. After his retirement he enjoyed assisting other people with small tasks around their homes and fishing with family and friends.

He very much enjoyed traveling south during the colder months.

Don is survived by: his wife Alice, his son and daughter-in-law Dwight and Roxane, his daughter-in-law Kelly, grandchildren; Amber (Isaiah), Joshua, Jarrod, Aaron and Amanda, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends. Don is proceeded in death by his son Bryan, his parents and his siblings.
