Joanne Rose Lammers, age 92, of Arapahoe, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at the Beaver City Manor in Beaver City, Nebraska.

She was born on July 9, 1931, at Minden, Nebraska to Martin and Isabelle (Nelson) Kaufflet.

On February 19, 1950, she married her husband Ralph Laverne Lammers in Minden, Nebraska. They were married for 68 years. To this union two daughters were born; Kristie Jo and Kathy Louise. They made their first home in Harrison, Nebraska. Later moved to several cities in Nebraska and in 1982 retired to Arapahoe, Nebraska from Cozad, Nebraska to be close to family. She enjoyed watching and sharing in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s lives.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Arapahoe and the LWML of which she loved piecing quilts for orphan grain train and spent hours crocheting.

Joanne is proceeded in death by her parents, husband Ralph, daughter Kathy and husband Steve Lallman, granddaughterin- law Kasey Jo Warner, sister Gloria and husband Donald Vannier, nephew Lonnie and wife Diana Vannier, brotherin- law Gene Osterbuhr.

She is survived by her daughter Kristie and husband Monte Warner of Beaver City, Nebraska, sister Patricia Osterbuhr of Minden, Nebraska, grandsons Darren and wife Amy Warner of Edison, Nebraska, Dan and wife Kate Warner of Arapahoe, Nebraska, Great-Grandchildren Aubree, Bryson, and Addelyn Warner of Edison, Nebraska, and Gentry, Berkley, Kallan, and Creyton Warner of Arapahoe, Nebraska and many nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Viewing and visitation was held Friday, October 6, 2023, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Garey Funeral Chapel, 652 Main Street, Arapahoe, Nebraska.

Funeral service was held Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 10 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, Arapahoe, Nebraska with Rev. James Moshier, officiating. Burial was at Minden Cemetery, at Minden, Nebraska on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 1 PM. Memorials are suggested to the Beaver City Manor, Lutheran Hour, and Trinity Lutheran Church or donor’s choice.
