A Graveside Service for Larry D. Reusink will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Fort McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell, Nebraska, with Pastor Daren Popple officiating, with Military Honors provided by the Army National Guard Funeral Honors Team.

Larry Dale Reusink, 74 years of age, of Oxford, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at his home in Oxford. Larry was born on March 3, 1947, at Long Island, Kansas, the youngest of four children, born to Garret and Opal Irene (Nickell) Reusink. He attended and graduated from Long Island High School with the class of 1965. Following his graduation, Larry began trade school at North Central Kansas Technical School in Beloit, Kansas.

On October 24, 1967 Larry was drafted into the United States Army at Phillipsburg, Kansas. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged.

Larry had three children: Andrea, Robby, and Jamie. Larry made his home in Oxford, where he was employed at Brooks Ford, later becoming the Service Manager. He enjoyed the day to day interactions with the public and enjoyed being retired.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ivalee Good; and two brothers: Harland Reusink and Gary Reusink.

Larry leaves to celebrate his life; his three children: Andrea Havranek and her husband, David; and their daughter, Mary of Valley, Nebraska; Rob Reusink and his wife, Jeanna; and their two children: Brenna and Trenton; and great-grandson, Max, of Gretna, Nebraska; and Jamie Thompson and her husband, Justin; and their two daughters: Taylor and Rylee of Lincoln, Nebraska.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Mitchell-Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Oxford, with the family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. o 7:30 p.m.
