LOGAN X. GORDON
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Logan X. Gordon was held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Nebraska, with Pastor Paul Sowden officiating.
Logan Xavier Gordon, 20 years of age, of Oxford, Nebraska, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Harlan County, Nebraska, near Atlanta, Nebraska. Logan was born on July 26, 2005, in Denver, Colorado, to Ryan and Jo (Rubio) Gordon. He received his education from Southern Valley Public Schools in rural Oxford.
Logan participated in Multimedia and Band during his school years.
He enjoyed clowns, anime, playing Xbox online with Ryan, and playing his guitars, trumpet, and violin. He was good with his hands and could build a stereo and work on cars. Logan liked to cook and bake with his mother and was a huge mama’s boy, and he owned it. He liked being with his family and friends.
Logan was currently employed at McDonald’s in Holdrege as a Co-Trainer and was a member of the McDonald’s crew. He enjoyed helping others at work and being around the public.
He will be remembered for his pure heart and willingness to help anyone, no matter what.
His generosity was unmatched.
Logan was preceded in death by: his maternal great-grandparents: Gonzalo Langoria-Garia; Mary R. Garia; his paternal great-grandparent, Connie Marquez.
Logan leaves to celebrate his life; his mother, JoAnna “Jo” Koelzer and husband, James of Oxford; father, Ryan William Gordon of Thornton, Colorado; sibling, Alexandri Nêeol Gordon-Rubio; maternal Grandparents: Mary Susan “Suzi” Rubio-Garia; Thomas R.
Rubio; paternal grandparents: Debora Gordon; Jerry Gordon; aunts and uncles: Anthony Joseph “AJ” Rubio and his wife, Amber Marie; Sara Gordon and her husband Donta; and Joy Garia Fiance; along with cousins and beloved family.
Cremation was chosen. A private family viewing was held.
Memorials are kindly suggested to the family for future designation.
In Honor of Logan, we are asking our family and friends to wear Western wear. Logan always wished he were an oldtime cowboy.
