Norman Dale Huxoll

Norman Dale Huxoll, age 79, of Holbrook, Nebraska passed away on Friday March 3, 2023, at the Colonial Villa Good Samaritan Society, Alma, Nebraska. He was born on May 27, 1943, to Frederick W.E. and Laura E.

(Koeteman) Huxoll in Oxford, Nebraska.

He married Dorothy Riepe on June 16, 1961, at Beaver City, Nebraska. To this union one son was born, Dean Huxoll. Norman lived and worked his life on the family farm as well as other farm employments. He was very talented welder and fabricator as well as skilled mechanic. He enjoyed riding horses, tending to the livestock and field work, as well as visiting with friends and family.

Norman is preceded in death by his parents, son Dean Huxoll, sisters Marge (Joe) tenBensel, Violet (Chet) Hilker, June (Chet) Hilker, June (Clarence) Tracy, Isabelle (Alvin) Pfeiffer, Betty (George) Riepe, Twyla (Lloyd) Golter, brothers Wayne (Judy) Huxoll, Marty (Brenda) Huxoll, & Laurel Huxoll, sister-in-law Beverly Huxoll.

Norman is survived by his wife, Dorothy Huxoll, granddaughter Amanda (Chris) Huxoll- Haveman, greatgrandsons Karson and Krayton Huxoll-Haveman, brothers Charles Huxoll and Jim (Leann) Huxoll, nephew Mike Riepe (Tracy) Riepe and several other nieces and nephews.

Viewing and visitation was held Tuesday, March 7, 2023, from 5 PM till 7 PM at Garey Funeral Chapel, 652 Main St., Arapahoe, Nebraska. Funeral service was held Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 1 PM at the Garey Funeral Chapel, of Arapahoe, Nebraska with Pastor George Probasco, officiating. Interment was at St. Matthews Cemetery, Arapahoe, Nebraska.
