Obituary-Judith Davis

Judith Jean Davis was born on December 15, 1950, to Virgil and Jean (Wood) Van Wormer in Wheatridge, CO.

Judith graduated from Wheatridge High School. In 1971, Judith married Joseph Davis at the Beth Eden Baptist Church in Wheatridge, CO. The couple first settled in Alexandria, LA, where they had a child.

The couple moved back to CO before eventually settling in Nebr. in 1992.

Judith worked as a bookkeeper, housewife and a mother. Her hobbies included taking walks, taking care of her animals, reading, crocheting and spending time with her family.

Judy passed away at her home in Cambridge early Friday morning, October 2, 2026. She was 75 years of age.

Judith is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include; husband, Joseph Davis; brother, Steve Van Wormer; daughter, Jennifer Hernandez; grandchildren, Sierra Davis, Elyssa Davis, Nick Sleaffer, Kayleigh Hernandez, Chase Hernandez, Makenzie Hernandez; great grandchildren, Angel Rodriguez, Viktor Rodriguez, Devan Rodriguez, Jacob Guthrie, Dominic Davis, Raelynn Hobbs, Ryder Hobbs, Everleigh Hobbs and Aria Eschliman.

Cremation was chosen. Memorials are suggested to the family of Judy Davis for later designation. Online condolences may be left at lockenour.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lockenour-Jones Mortuary of Cambridge.
