ROSANN M. RUSSELL

Rosann Marie Russell was born in McCook, Nebraska on June 13, 1956 to Dora and (William) Alwyn Russell of Arapahoe, Nebraska and went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 20, 2025 after a losing battle with melanoma.

She graduated from the Arapahoe High School with the Class of 1974 and went on to study at the Wichita Business College.

Rosann married Daniel Griffiths in Lincoln, Nebraska on June 19, 1982. They moved to Sun Prairie, Wisconsin in 1999 and later divorced but remained friends. Rosann spent most of her working career in the banking business.

Most recently, Rosann lived a peaceful life in a country farmhouse near Watertown, Wisconsin admiring sunsets as well as enjoying time with friends, her church and work, and most of all, Sunday dinners with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law, Beverly Russell and niece Connie Russell. She is survived by her brothers James Russell, Robert (Rosie) Russell, daughters Kayla (Ty) Sanborn and Alyx (Dustin) Hochmuth, friend and ex-husband, Dan Griffiths, grandchildren Cameron, Paisley, and Brielle Sanborn, Theodore and Micah Hochmuth as well as her nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends, co-workers and relatives.

A funeral service was held on September 30th at Divine Savior Lutheran Church in Hartford, Wisconsin.
