Tony E. Thulin, 95 years of age, of Oxford, died at his home on Friday, April 11, 2025, surrounded by his family. Tony was born and raised in Oxford. After serving in the United States Air Force, Tony returned to Oxford to join the family business and raise Turkeys. For several years, he juggled farming and working at KN Energy where he had a long career before retiring to enjoy life with his wife, Maggie. Tony was a man of many talents, including building his own home (where he and Maggie lived until their final days), farming, growing the best watermelons, you’ve ever had, and inventing all kinds of gadgets.

Tony was a quiet man who found a lot of joy and pride in his family and friends. He avidly watched the local sports teams, always cheering on any Oxford or Southern Valley team, long after any of his kids or grandkids were still playing. He was proud to have traveled the world and seen so many things.

He lived a full life and, in the end, was proud of the farms, house and family he built as a legacy.

Tony raised Terry (Brenda), Glenda (Jerry), and Julie (Kent) to be great parents and people. He was (and will remain) the quiet stoic voice of love and patience for all of his Grandchildren: Toby, Nick (Becky), Lacey, Andy (Nicholas), Bret (Keera), Aly (Jordan), and Kylee, and his great-grandchildren: Evan, Hudson, Kellen and Emmit.

Memorials given will all be donated at a later date to some of Tony’s favorite places. He loved Oxford so donations will stay in Oxford.
