VICTORIA E. BELL
Victoria Ellen Bell, age 62, of Arapahoe, Nebraska went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 16th, 2023 at her home. Vickie was born in Denver, Colorado to Kenneth and Alberta (Powell) Connor.
They later moved to Portland, Oregon where she would go on to graduate from James Madison High School in 1979. She worked many jobs through and after high school as she was in-between Portland and Denver, Colorado. She had her first daughter, Kristin Connor in April of 1981. She married her first husband, Michael Lee, in the spring of 1983. Together, they had Michelle Lee, born in March of 1984. After separating, she met Robert Bell. They went on to get married on September 7th, 1986. They welcomed their first and only son, Justin Bell, in May of 1987. She continued to work at various jobs until welcoming their final daughter, Elizabeth Bell, in April of 2003. They decided Colorado was no longer the best option and moved to Nebraska in October 2005 to own and operate the Arapahoe Motel.
While working at the motel, she also picked up a job at Cunningham’s Feed in Arapahoe.
Vickie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her kids, grandkids, and great- grands.
She loved to listen to music, crochet blankets for anyone that would ask, and watch old western movies. Cooking was another thing Vickie loved to do and was good at.
She became a member of the First United Methodist Church in Arapahoe on March 24, 2016.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bell, her parents, and her brother, Carl Connor and brother-inlaw Jim Bell.
She is survived by her sister, Ruth Connor; children, Kristin Connor of Denver, CO, Michelle (Jonathan) Crawford of Arapahoe, NE, Justin Bell (Amy Ramon) of Tuscon, AZ, and Elizabeth (Noah) Hiebner of Henderson, NE; her grandchildren, Gordon Voegtlin Jr. of Denver CO, Tessa Voegtlin (Lance Finney) of Grandview MO, Joziah Voegtlin of Denver, CO, Alexzander Voegtlin, of Denver, CO, Justin Bell Jr. and Bobby Bell of Tuscon, AZ, and Osiris Crawford of Arapahoe, Ne; great-grandchildren Lance Finney Jr. and Silas Finney; sister-in-law Donna McKim of Edison, NE and brother-in-law William Bell of Denver CO; along with many friends and other family.
There will be no viewing or visitation as cremation was chosen.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at 11 am at Arapahoe Methodist Church in Arapahoe, Nebraska with Revs.
