Bulls fall to Bertrand

BERTRAND- It was a high-scoring affair Tuesday night between rivals Bertrand and Hi-Line. The Vikings got the better of the Bulls winning 78-63. In the first quarter, Ryker Evans had the Bulls on the right track as he scored seven points but the Bulls trailed 14-11. The Vikings kept pushing the action as they scored 18 points in the second quarter leading 32-26 at halftime.

In the third quarter, the Vikings really opened things up as they scored 30 points to Hi-Lines 21, to lead 62-47 heading into the final stanza. The Bulls made it very interesting as they went on a 13-2 run in the first three and a half minutes, to trail 64-60 with 4:32 remaining. The Vikings took a timeout and then countered with a 16-3 run to close things out.

The Bulls were led by Ryker Evans as he had a big game with 23 points and Cade Schmidt added 14 points. Bertrand moves to 3-1, Hi-Line falls to 1-4.
