With wrestlers needing to finish in the top four of their weight classes to reach the district final, the Roughriders nearly advanced the entire team as 10 of 12 individuals for Southwest made it to next weekend.

Jacob Kerns (126), Garrett Latimer (138), Matt Van Pelt (152) and Bryson Shoemaker each took first in their weight class, while Carter Van Pelt (120), Brett Tryon (160), Cole Downey (182) and Clayton Hardy (220) each finished runner-up at their weight class. Mitchell Stritt (113) took third and Tyler Ellis (145) finished fourth.
