SV girls fall to Ravenna, Superior

Southern Valley girls basketball take two hard losses this week in their games versus Ravenna and Superior. On Thursday evening, the Eagles lost to the Ravenna Bluejays 36-54. SV had balanced scoring with Ann Bose posting 12, Kynlee Marquez with 8, Krista Best adding 7, Jenna Hunt scoring 6, and Jessica Lambert with 3.

Superior got a jump start on the Southern Valley Eagles early in the first half leading 26-15 going into halftime knocking down two 3-pointers to help the team outscore the Wildcats 10 to 7. However, the Wildcats came back with a furry shutting down any offensive strategy for the Eagles in the 4th. Ann Bose led the team with 12 points, and Krista Best added 8. The loss to Superior puts the Southern Valley Lady Eagles at 1-7 for the season.
