The Cambridge Public School Board met in regular session on Monday, January 12, 2021. All board members were present for the meeting. After calling the meeting to order, the elected board members were sworn in and officers were elected. Amy Sines, Kyle Klinkebiel and Kim Huxoll all took the oath of office. Jason Houghtelling was elected president, and Amy Sines will remain vice president. Marisa Burke, who will take over for Kris Shifflet as bookkeeper, was elected secretary of the Board, and Kyle Klinkebiel will continue to serve as treasurer. Committees remained the same with Huxoll replacing Vic Knutson on his committees.
ARAPAHOE — The Regular Arapahoe-Holbrook School Board Meeting was called to order by outgoing board president, Rodney Whipple on January 11, 2021 with all members present. Others in attendance were Superintendent Dr. George Griffith and Principal Rudy Perez, former board member, Dennis Roskop, AEA Representatives Lynn Crosley (Business Teacher) and Glenna Hoeff (Physical Science Teacher), and Valley Voice Reporter, Guyla Mills.
CAMBRIDGE, NE — Nebraska based fiber provider Pinpoint (Pinpoint Communications, Inc.) has announced the completed acquisition of A-1 Fiber of Auburn, Nebraska. As Pinpoint begins to take possession of the network we intend to keep things as consistent as possible in the near term.
