The Elwood Village Board held their monthly meeting on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Chairman, Tom Martin, presented Utilities Superintendent Kirk Corder a Certificate of Service award from the League of Municipalities. Corder has proudly served the community of Elwood for 10 dedicated years.
Good Samaritan Society, Arapahoe Activities Director Star Corbin handed out flowers to the women residents and candy to the men for their Valentines Day party. Here are some of the photos taken that show residents receiving their gift. They had a special meal, music to set the mood and they all had a great time. Star also handed out Valentine cookies to each resident.
It is 20 degrees below 0 this morning and everyone at Sunshine Village is snowed in. The sun is shining and we are thankful for our wonderful place that is warm and friendly on this President’s day. All the residents appreciate Trina, who keeps the walks safe and everyone looks forward to warmer weather.
