A Scout is Clean. (Top) On Saturday morning, a few members of the Arapahoe Boy Scouts troops helped to pick up unwanted items for the city wide cleanup. That afternoon, (Right) Cub Scouts Pack 236 and Boy Scouts Troop 236 and Troop 79G picked up trash along Highway 283 north of Arapahoe for the adopt-a-highway program. In the 2-mile stretch, 25 bags of trash were filled. The scouts also participated in World Scouts Trash the Trash Day which could be any day we choose in April or May. Those who participated will receive a special patch in recognition for their help in keeping our planet clean.

Duck hunters will choose from two bag limits this year

LINCOLN, Neb. — Duck hunters in Nebraska and South Dakota will choose between two daily bag limits — two tiers of limits — before waterfowl season this year. The new “two-tier” duck hunting regulations recently adopted by Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and allows hunters to select between Tier I or Tier II when they register for their Harvest Information Program (HIP) number.
