Dan Haussler of Grand Island was a Saturday overnight guest of his mother, Lelia Haussler and ate Mother’s Day dinner at the Prairie Pines on Sunday. Several residents had guests for Mother’s Day.
(Grand Island, Neb.) – Central Community College-Grand Island honored about 450 graduate candidates May 7 during its 35th annual commencement ceremony. Area graduates include: Associate of Applied Science Degree: CAMBRIDGE-Makinsey Pladsen, occupational therapy assistant; JOHNSON LAKE-Joshua D.
We are open to in-house meals and as long as our Gosper County numbers stay down we can remain open. The Gosper County Senior Center will continue to serve meals for delivery or pick-up for the month of April, but if you are out and about at other daily activities then pick –up meals will be limited. The Cambridge Board of Education met in regular session on Monday, May 10, 2021. All board members were present. In public comment, Lance Shifflet spoke about allowing the daycare in the building. Shifflet said he wasn’t against the daycare, but believed having it in the building could be seen as the school subsidizing the daycare and that isn’t fair to the community, the taxpayers or to other daycares.
LINCOLN, NE (05/10/2021)-- The University of Nebraska-Lincoln conferred a record 3,594 degrees during commencement exercises May 7 and 8. The 3,512 graduates are from 58 countries, 43 states and the District of Columbia, and more than 250 Nebraska communities.
