Farmers and ranchers are invited to attend a FREE Clinic. The clinics are one-on-one, not group sessions, and are confidential. The legal and financial clinic gives you a chance to meet with an experienced Ag Law attorney and farm financial counselor. The clinic staff specializes in legal and economic issues related to farming and ranching, including business planning, estate and transition planning, farm loan programs, debtor/creditor law, and other relevant matters. Here is an opportunity to obtain an experienced outside opinion on issues that may be affecting your farm or ranch. Bring your questions!
We are open to in-house meals and as long as our Gosper County numbers stay down we can remain open. The Gosper County Senior Center will continue to serve meals for delivery or pick-up for the month of April, but if you are out and about at other daily activities then pick–up meals will be limited. We are following the guidelines that WCNAAA has suggested for our Center. Please call the Senior Center at 785-2500 if you have questions. Thanks for your continued support.

Mrs. Dauwen’s Cambridge Kindergarten class held its annual egg drop Friday afternoon. Principal Jarod Albers would drop their device, which was to safely keep a raw egg inside from cracking when it hit the ground, off of the school’s roof. Over 90 percent of the eggs survived the drop, leading Dauwen to proclaim that the class has a number of great scientists. The devices ranged from a gutted nerf football to a roll of toilet paper and also included devices that deployed parachutes.
