Oxford - Reagan Bennett and Trinity Bantam were the recipients of the Oxford Alumni 2021 scholarships. Both attended the Oxford Alumni Banquet on Saturday, May 29. They each took time to speak and let the alumni know what their future plans are.

Oxford - The American Legion and Sons of the American Legion in Oxford held their Memorial Day services at the Oxford Cemetery on Monday, May 31. A nice crowd was present despite road conditions due to a rainy weekend. The speaker was Pastor Brian Jenkins of the Oxford First Baptist Church.

The Tasting Tea, now held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Oxford, might not have started with Turkey Days, but has become a tradition. Started by the extension clubs, the first one was held in the shcool gym in 1968.
