SV Board votes to reject current Health Ed Standard

The Southern Valley Board of Education met for a regular meeting on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 7:30 pm. All board members were present. Superintendent Bryce Jorgenson and Stacey Shafer were also present. The board approved the consent agenda. Hunt recognized visitors and asked for any public comment. Oxford works on budget

The Village of Oxford Board of Trustees met on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 7 pm. Absent from the meeting was trustee Chad Cunningham. Also present was clerk/treasurer Becky Calderone and Public Works Director Duane Hoffman. The board approved the minutes of the previous meeting and claims through July 6.

Rain in this neck of the woods this last week was a mixed blessing. Everyone is trying to get the wheat cut, but we are so short on moisture that we really don’t want to say “Rain, go away”. Various amounts were received, as has been the norm this year. The gauge here on the hill showed right at .40.
