Ric and Kate Meyers have had visitors over to see how Ric is doing. Diane Deselms came over Saturday evening to visit. On Sunday they had dinner at Tedd and Amy Watson’s home and they came over later to help build fence. Ric went back to the doctor on the 16th for a procedure to get rid of some fluid. He is feeling a little bit better.

10 years ago Contestants competed for the honor of 2011 Gosper Rodeo County Queen Taytum Dickman and Cheyenne Beck was Princess. Kevin Bullis was selected as Custodian of the Year by the Nebraska State Custodian Association for the year of 2011.

10 years ago Noreen Colby and family won the Supermarket Sweepstakes at the Duck Dive and captured over $380 in groceries from Cambridge Supermarket. Strong winds overturned the grain cart owned by Trevor Kubik northwest of Cambridge Sunday night.

10 years ago More than 6,300 nationwide members, advisers, alumni, and guests of Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) gathered in Anaheim, CA for the 2011 Conference. Those attending were Jennifer Grindle, Makayla Wendland, Kyla Monie, and Audra Breinig along with sponsors and Leandra Monie and Marilyn Martin.
